After looking at the Proven Winners website last month I saw so many beautiful plants and flowers that were available to ship to me in the Spring I decided to give it a try!
It was early in the year and the selection was beautiful. So many new and unusual plants that I would never find at the local nursery. It was just what I was looking for.
I was worried about the shipping and how they would survive inside a box until I was able to get home and unload everything.
Well to my surprise they were masterfully packed. Each plant in an individual section of the box and wrapped neatly with paper.
As I unwrapped each one it was like Christmas since it was a month before I received the order, I almost forgot what I picked out! They won’t ship until the season is right for your planting zone and that made sense so I didn’t mind the wait.
I really expected that there would be some damage during transit but as I unwrapped each plant they were all perfect!
They even included some great little catalogs which showed some examples of how to design planters and flower beds. It showed various color combinations and will inspire your seasonal containers for sure!
I’ll definitely be placing orders with them again next season. So, if you would like to be able to shop a larger variety than what you might find locally it seems like this would be the way to go.
I can’t wait to see it all in full bloom this summer!
